The University of Bilad Al-Rafidain hosts the eighth development course for lawyers and new graduates

Under the auspices of the University of Bilad Al-Rafidain and in cooperation with the Bar Association and the Union of Jurists, the eighth development course for lawyers and new graduates was opened today, January 13, 2025, in the university halls.

The course witnessed development lectures under the supervision of Dr, Qasim Baris Al-Zuhairi, a lecturer at the College of Law at the University of Bilad Al-Rafidain which focused on enhancing the participants’ skills and developing their legal capabilities.

This initiative comes within the framework of the university’s keenness to enhance cooperation with professional unions and support young Iraqi competencies, thus contributing to developing the legal sector and serving our dear Iraq.

The University of Bilad Al-Rafidain continues its journey in providing academic and community support, to be a scientific edifice that contributes to building a promising future for Iraq

Today, Sunday, January 12, 2025, the Department of Women’s Affairs - at the university held an educational symposium on modern education methods / the axis of social empowerment / the pillar of participation and institutional reform, in cooperation with the College of Physical Education, Sports Sciences, Guidance and Educational Guidance, College of Nursing - University of Bilad Al-Rafidain

 Using modern methods in raising children in light of contemporary changes is to prepare a generation capable of facing the challenges of the era and adapting to its rapid changes, while preserving its values ​​and morals. through 

Building a balanced personality: includes mental, emotional, social and moral aspects. This includes enhancing the child's self-confidence, developing his creative abilities, and teaching him how to deal with his feelings and emotions in a healthy way.

Life skills development: Providing the child with the necessary skills for success in life, such as effective communication skills, problem solving, critical thinking, time management, and teamwork. The child is able to adapt to different situations and make the right decisions.

*Adapting to technology: how to use it safely and responsibly, and how to deal with information available online with caution and critical thinking. Protecting it from the dangers of the Internet and cyberbullying.

*Building a strong relationship between parents and children: providing the child with a safe and supportive environment that helps him grow and develop in a healthy way.

Preparing a good citizen capable of contributing to building society 

The importance of these goals must be known in light of contemporary changes, given:

Rapid changes in the labor market: Today's labor market requires new and diverse skills, such as critical thinking, problem-solving and effective communication skills. Modern education aims to provide children with these skills to prepare them for a successful professional future.

The spread of misleading information: In light of the spread of misleading information online, it becomes necessary to teach children how to analyze and evaluate information critically, and this is what modern education focuses on.

Social and cultural challenges: Children today face various social and cultural challenges, such as discrimination, bullying, and violence. Modern education aims to teach children how to deal with these challenges positively and constructively.

A new issue of Bilad Al-Rafidain Journal of Engineering Sciences is published...With the support and guidance of the President of the University of Bilad Al-Rafidain Professor Dr. Rasha Khalil Abed the Chairman of the Editorial Board of Bilad Al-Rafidain Journal of Engineering Sciences and Technology, the respected Professor Dr. Hussein Jassim Al-Alkawi, and the efforts of the staff of the Journal Division and the members of the Editorial and Linguistic Review Board, the third volume was issued by the University of Bilad Al-Rafidain for the year 2024, which contains two issues, the volume includes 25 papers in various engineering and technology specializations, by teachers and researchers from different universities and colleges. 

Note that the journal bears an approved international number ISSN: 2957-9651 and deposit number 2598. It is accredited by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and registered on the Iraqi scientific journals website.

During the meeting, the President pointed out the importance of focusing on developing teaching staff and adopting modern educational methods that keep pace with scientific and technical developments in the medical field. She also stressed the need to enable students to acquire practical skills that qualify them to perform their duties efficiently in the labor market in the future.

This meeting comes within the framework of the university’s tireless efforts to raise the level of education and training, ensuring the preparation of a distinguished generation of medical and health competencies capable of effectively contributing to community service.
