#A delegation of teachers and students from the Nursing Department at Bilad Al-Rafidain University College visited Al-Rashad Hospital for Psychiatric and Mental Diseases in Baghdad.
The purpose of the visit is to train students practically in the field of psychiatric and mental health nursing in the largest mental hospital in Iraq, to ​​provide the students with practical skills in this field by studying rare cases in which the students obtain consent from the psychiatric patient to conduct an interview with him, evaluate his psychological state, and identify the causesAnd the symptoms of the disease, and the visit was carried out under the supervision of Assistant lecture,Duha Abdul Rahman, subject teacher and hospital training specialist, is a nurse from Al-Rashad Teaching Hospital.
The students expressed great enthusiasm for obtaining knowledge and skills. This scientific visit took place as part of the educational curriculum requirements for the subject of mental health nursing (clinical practical) and will be followed by other training visits, God Almighty willing.
