Department of Media Communication at Bilad Al-Rafidain University College, in coordination with the Faculty of Mass Communication at the Arab Open University in Washington and the College of Basic Education at the University of Diyala, organized a scientific Seminar in the Ashnouna Hall at Bilad Al-Rafidain University College, which was organized under the title:--
The impact of modern media on social values ​​among university students at Bilad Al-Rafidain university College. The seminar addressed the nature of digital media, its negatives and positives, the consequences of the incorrect use of means of communication, and the role of the media in reducing negative phenomena affecting society and youth, especially such as drug abuse and the phenomenon of homosexualityAnd violence of all kinds. The seminar came up with a number of recommendations, the most important of which are:-1- Create a social networking site that contributes to disseminating original concepts and values ​​that contribute to building the individual correctly.
2- Explaining the dangers of negative media to the individual and society through seminars, workshops and various means of communication.
3- Activating the role of guidance and cooperation between educational institutions and the family.
